Committee Outing  - Puttenham

A good day out to try out the course for future club outings. It is a testing course with a good variation of holes although there were some long walks in between. The staff were very friendly & accommodating and there were good facilities. Overall is was felt that it wouldn't be a suitable venue for a future outing mainly because of the lack of buggies (only 4). The winner John Tidy with 36 points. Many thanks to all the club members for an enjoyable day out.

Walton Heath vs. CCAGC

A very close match, but lost 3-4. Having led 3-0 at one stage thanks to Gerry, Martin and Captain Mick, one or two of the team ran out of steam after also playing in the morning. The course was in good condition and probably the best greens we've played all year. The hosts were very accomodating and looked after us very well. Our next game is against St.Georges hill. Depending on other results CCAGC may have a chance of qualifying out of our group!

The innorgoral match was played between the Veterans and the Artisans on a very pleasant afternoon with the outcome being 4 1/2 for the Artisans and 1/2 for the Vets. Vets Captain Nick Getting said that they had all enjoyed the afternoon and hoped that we could play on a home and away basis next year. The Vets provided a small cup called the V&A cup which will be played for each match. CCAGC vs. The Vets

CCAGC vs. Surrey National
A great afternoon even though CCAGC only had 7 players. The Surrey National team were very understanding and lent us one of their players. Jess Richardson became an Artisan again for the afternoon and although CCAGC won with two matches halved and three won, CCAGC Captain Nigel Messett declared the overall match halved as CCAGC were using one of their players!

CCAGC lost 6-1
The match was played in near perfect conditions on a beautiful but testing course. Unfortunately last years winners were too strong for us and we went down by 5 matches with 2 drawn. St Georges Hill artisans were very amiable hosts and provided us with some good food afterwards. The Coulsdon players enjoyed their game and are looking forward to playing there again one day
