Spring Outing: Chartham Park
The weather was kind to us and the course was in very good condition - especially the greens - despite the recent wet weather. There were some good scores in with Gerry once again taking the main prize with 39 points. The junior section was won by Tony Allen with 34 and the guest prize was won by Peter Rowe with 39.
The morning fourball was won by Gerry, Mick, Martyn and Clive.

Surrey 7's - St. Georges Hill
CCAGC lost 5-2!
The match was played in near perfect conditions on a beautiful but testing course. Unfortunately last years winners were too strong for us and we went down by 5 matches with 2 drawn. St Georges Hill artisans were very amiable hosts and provided us with some good food afterwards. The Coulsdon players enjoyed their game and are looking forward to playing there again one day
4th May 2012 - Hector Fudge
The match was played in the dry but rather cold. Scoring in general was not high as the conditions underfoot were a bit heavy. Eventual winners were the Main Club. Hector was in great form and a good time was had by all with some friendly banter thrown in.

Surrey 7's - Reigate Heath 'B'
CCAGC won 5-2! The matches were played in chilly conditions but dry with some very tight matches but Coulsdon came out worthy winners. Reigate Heath proved to be very sporting competitors.

Autumn Outing - Ifield
Turnout was good with 31 players. Weather perfect, although a bit chilly, and the course was in fine condition. Food was excellent and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.

CCAGC Charity Day - Update

CCAGC managed to raise a massive £3,000 for the South East Cancer Care Unit based in Purley. Captain Phil Thomas presented the cheque.

CCAGC and Ladies Match
Parings of 1 CCAGC member & 1 Lady member battled it out over 18 holes in a greensomes format, stroke play. Handicaps for the pair were half combined handicap. The match was followed by a meal of Lasagna & chips with strawberries & cream for dessert. Overall winners were Nick Dudley and Vivian Williams with a terrific score of 60!

The weather was glorious and all enjoyed this years Hector Fudge competition. The Veterans won by a country mile, followed by the Ladies, then the Artisans, with the Main Club bringing up the rear. Followed by a meal & drinks.

Autumn Outing - Rusper Golf Club
It was a great day out & the weather was kind to CCAGC. The golf course was very tight in places, with tree lined fairways & plenty of dreaded water! A good location for plane spotters too as right underneath the flight path to Gatwick!

The yearly match with the Ladies of Coulsdon Court went ahead despite inclement weather. A good time was had by all and the event with Nigel & Jan winning on 75 points! Adam won the nearest-the-pin event.

CCAGC vs. Surrey National
The return match with 12 members from CCAGC and The Surrey National Golf Club playing match-play pairs. Despite atrocious weather with driving rain the match went ahead. A good friendly competitive match ending in a 3-3 draw. Afterwards a meal of sausage, eggs & chips.

Very close match with a couple of halves and couple of matches won on the last hole.
Sundridge Park won 4-3.

Spring Outing - Hoebridge
Organized by Norman Grey, the outing was a great success. Six guests & eighteen members battled it out over a morning 9-hole competition followed by 18 holes Stableford off the yellows. Split between Juniors & Seniors was handicap of 16.
